Hi guys, here are some quick tips to help you pass the MRCS OSCE with confidence.
1. Every station has a checklist.
Please follow the checklist strictly — that’s exactly how examiners score you.
2. Practice according to the checklist and within the time frame.
Timing is everything. A perfect answer done late still loses marks.
3. Stay structured.
Use clear frameworks like WIPER, ABCDE, SOCRATES, SPIKES — structure always impresses examiners.
4. Use the right keywords.
Simple keywords like ‘escalate early’, ‘sepsis 6’, ‘red flags’, ‘ABCDE’ score marks instantly.
5. Repeated practice is the secret.
