Описание: We have all heard of the legendary Lebron James, the dominant Michael Jordan or even the versatile Larry Bird. However, often their female counterparts are being denigrated by the media. Adjectives such as ´attractive´, ´pretty,´ emotional´ are more likely to precede these athlete´s names. But how can we change the deeply rooted stereotypes that are so strictly linked to female basketball? What things, if any, can be done to alter this unfair narrative? Cris is a student at Francis Holland School, Sloane Square. She studies Psychology, English and Spanish. With high hopes for the future, Cris plans on becoming a sport psychologist for a major league team.
