Punggol Waterfront 2: Crabbing, Scooping Squid & Fishing

Описание: Today will be our first attempt on crabbing, scooping squid and fishing overnight at Punggol Waterfront 2. It’s been years since our last overnight crabbing session at Punggol and today will bring you to another fun field night adventure. Right after my last visit at Punggol point, it gave me the idea of “Why not attempt on scooping sotong/squid at Punggol? After seeing a group of squid chase my fly till the shoreline.

Location: Punggol Waterfront II (Current nearest LRT Samudera)

Date of visit: 17-18 August 2019

Timing: 1900hrs – 0700hrs (12hrs of Fishing)

Tidal info: 0.9m (1830hrs) – 2.7m (0026hrs) – 0.2m (0711hrs)

Weather: Partial Cloudy

Target: Flower Crabs, Squid and Fish

Caught: Flower Crabs, Squid, Fingermark Snapper & Duri

Tips: Bring Mosquito repellent
