A statue of Tommy Gemmell has been unveiled in Craigneuk as Celtic boss Martin O'Neill paid tribute to the Hoops legend.
The Lisbon Lion, renowned for his pivotal role in the club’s historic 1967 European Cup victory, has been commemorated with a new sculpture on land between Glencairn Avenue and Shieldmuir Street.
After a long fundraising campaign, news of the statue’s unveiling was revealed by Tommy’s wife Mary.
