The Trans-Canada Highway is a federal-provincial highway system that travels through all ten provinces of Canada. It is, along with the Trans-Siberian Highway and Australia's Highway 1, one of the world's longest national highways, with the main route spanning 8,030 km. After several months of research I was able to locate where the final section was paved in British Columbia, where the East section met the West in 1971.
This summer I went there to see it for my own eyes. It was amazing!! I highly recommend everyone who loves the TCH go and see it.
