An orientation trip to the Solomons to check out Fatboy's Resort on Mbambanga Island, so we can prepare a diving trip there for our customers.
Checking out the room options available at Fatboy's resort.
With limited time, we had two days of diving, 1 day with Fatboy's SSI centre and 1 day with Gizo Dive. Diving the Toa Maru, a WWII Japanese transport ship sunk by an American submarine and Grand Central Station with Fatboy's and then the Pinnacle and One Tree at Kennedy Island with Dive Gizo. All of these sites can go beyond 30 metres, but go as shallow as 5 to 8 metres.
