Описание: Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) has completed the second phase of a $37.8 million upgrade to its Medical Imaging (MI) department. The project's first phase, completed last year, added a building to house new MRI equipment. The recently finished second phase includes a seventh bay in the post-procedure recovery area to enhance patient comfort, privacy, and safety. Patient and visitor waiting rooms and staff areas were also renovated. The upgrades were funded by the B.C. government ($20.1 million), the Central Okanagan Regional Hospital District ($13.4 million), and the KGH Foundation ($4.3 million). The MI department at KGH has two MRI scanners and aims to provide better patient care with improved spaces and tools.
