Walkthrough: CW3000 Sedimentation Clarifier

Описание: This video walks you through our CW3000 Sedimentation Clarifier at a sand & gravel production site. You'll learn the design of the clarifier and its setup to return clean water to the production process and thick mud that the client can discard.

The clarifier is treating about 2500 GPM at this application.

The CW3000 is a V-Bottom Rectangular Sedimentation Clarifier with a 50hp screw. This clarifier separates solids from water, and the screw moves the settled solids to a mud pump for discharge.

An M500SS Dry Polymer System prepares and doses a polymer solution to the influent slurry line that enters the clarifier. The polymer solution creates flocculation, which allows the solids to settle out of liquid suspension faster.

The mud produced from the clarifier is discharged to mud pits, where it dewaters before it's removed by an excavator.

The clean water produced by the clarifier overflows weirs, and gravity flows to a clean water pond for reuse. This application doesn't require clarified water to be potable, but the water must be clean enough for reuse in the client's aggregate production process.
