Sonny’s Tunnel: The Pro’s Car Care Complex

Описание: Here is another car wash that I haven’t done before! I actually tried to go through this one before, but it was closed for some reason, though the weather was decent. Probably down for daily maintenance is my guess.

The Pro’s Car Care Complex is located in Mansfield MA, and offers all kinds of services. These include an express exterior wash, but also offers interior cleaning services as well, 3 self service bays, auto body shop, auto repair shop and multiple vacuum stations. All of this, on one property. You can get your car washed, interior cleaned and then repaired, and the list goes on.

According to their website, they were founded in 1958, and they tore down the original wash in 1987 and built a new tunnel wash in its place. The auto body shop got renovated in 1990, the same year they started offering detailing services and finally, in 1993, the repair shop opened. So this car wash has been around for quite some time now, but obviously been through many changes throughout the years.

It is unknown what the OG equipment was, but I’m assuming the stuff from 1987 was originally Hanna, possibly with the drop down contouring dryer, but I’m not sure. Eventually, the tunnel got a complete overhaul by Sonny’s, and has the usual Sonny’s setup you see in washes here in Massachusetts/New England. However, it does have a 3 producer IDC drying system along with 3 Sonny’s dryers.

Chemicals are from FormulaFinish, including the Synthetic Hot Wax and Ceramic Coat. The Ceramic Coat is a $5 add-on to any wash and isn’t included in any of the packages.

The wash shown in this video was the $25 Ultra Experience Wash with the $5 Ceramic Coat add-on, and it included:
