Streets of Rage 3 (US Ver.): Stage 7 (Factory) & Good Ending (Axel, "Normal")

Описание: The most significant change to Streets of Rage 3's story progression is where you go for Stage 7 depending on whether or not you saved the Chief of Police in Stage 6. I previously showed the outcome of not saving his life in time, where the heroes go to the so-called "City Hall" to have a final battle against Shiva.

This time, for saving the Chief, Axel then instructs Adam to use his helicopter to take the Chief to his City Hall and bust the fake Chief that's having a conference there. Axel, Blaze, Skate, and Zan manage to discover an old factory in the city's forest, and will now check the place out to see if Mr. X is there.

The first section of this level takes place outside in a heavily-armed forest. It's full of ninjas and more punks, and worst yet, there are spots on the ground that, if you touch time, they'll pull you up by a rope and then drop you for damage. Stay away from them.

The second area takes place inside the factory, itself. It starts off with having you get run over by several Robot Xs. They're not as tough as the boss one you fight at the end of Stage 5, and you don't even have to smash through all of them before you're allowed to progress.

But then more of those hopping robots show up to fight you as you go, and even have to face more agents and Rocket punks, too. In what seems to be a tradition, you'll tend to fight all of these enemies on moving conveyor belts, and if that wasn't enough, there are also lasers that shoot out from the walls in the background.

The 3rd area has you on a conveyor belt moving you towards lasers where you have to destroy a robotic claw that's used by Dr. Dahm. Stay out of its reach, them attack when it comes down. It'll eventually break apart, but then it'll chase you around with its exposed electricity. You can attack it again and finish it off, along with the doctor, himself.

The fourth and final section of this stage, and the whole game, has you finally confront the REAL Mr. X. What's left of him now is just a talking brain in a jar, but he's still a serious threat as he is about to bomb what remains of the entire city! The bombs will go of in exactly three minutes!

To keep you from stopping him, he summon his final ultimate robot: Robot Y!

Whichever ending you get from this point depends on if you can beat that robot before time runs out. He's really pesky, as he can ignore your combos from a moment to sling you a cheap punch!

For the final time, Mr. X plans have failed. His Robot Y smashed into his jar as it was destroyed by the Bare Knuckle Brawlers. The foolish brain begged for life, but naturally, the heroes were just going to let him dry up and die out.

So since he couldn't have his way, Mr. X decides to just blow up the entire factory. He even made sure to seal all of the exits so that the heroes could die with him.

He would've succeeded, but Adam managed to break in and bail them all out, after finding and soundly beating up the fake Chief of Police, who was than Shiva in disguise!

And so, everyone escapes using Adam's helicopter, Mr. X's factory went out with a bang, and the Syndicate was finally no more. They then went on to defuse the remaining bombs throughout the city, and Dr. Dahm, who survived his fight against the heroes, allowed them to locate the rest of the kidnapped city officials who got replaced by robots. Afterwards, he was sent to an asylum.

Meanwhile, Dr. Zan, formerly a member of the Syndicate, was finally forgiven by the city and seem as a hero like the rest of his comrades. As such, he was able to leave the city on good terms.

The other heroes also enjoyed resuming their normal lives. Axel continued to improve his martial arts training, Skate was once again able to have some quality time with his big brother, Adam. Meanwhile, Blaze decided to relax at the beach (her red leotard got slightly more clothing where her crotch is in the American version).

In the end, except for Zan, but including a last minute appearance by Max Thunder of the 2nd game, all of the heroes looked on at the city that they were once again able to protect from the terror of the Syndicate and Mr. X. They then went their separate ways to continue their lives in peace...

Thanks for watching! This was all in support of the upcoming Streets of Rage 4, which seems to take place several after this game with an older Axel and Blaze, and more fighters are said to come back, too!

Remember, in the American version of this game, you can only see the ending credits when you get the Good Ending. The Japanese version is more lenient where you can see the credits even if you let the bombs destroy the city. You just get a terrible look at the city instead of the blue screen with the heroes smiling.
