First look is at the Parramatta Metro Station which forms part of Sydney West Metro. The Sydney West Metro has a target completion of 2032. That will be about 12 years that has passed since construction works commenced in 2020. One of the main benefits of the new metro station will be its location within the commercial core of Parramatta CBD. Next is the Powerhouse Parramatta Museum which is one of the largest and most complex cultural infrastructure projects in Australia. It offers over 18,000 sqm of museum exhibition and public spaces and will attract 2 million visitors a year. It is anticipated to open in late 2026. The video then pivots to a view above a Parramatta River ferry as it heads to Parramatta wharf. Following are several views of Light Rail along Tramway Avenue and George Street. The first stage of Parramatta Light Rail, connecting Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia, began operations on 20 December 2024.
