On this first episode of Workshop Diaries, I will be tearing apart and fixing the Blue Leica Sofort. I tried to fix this camera a few years ago but was not able to because the main broken component (a small gear) was irreplaceable. A couple weeks ago I came across a completely broken White Leica Sofort with a good lens so I decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, I was not able to fix it completely since there is something wrong with the software, but at least the lens will open now!
