Home means something different to everyone.

But for every family, housing is the foundation of dignity, health and hope.
Through the ‘Let’s Build a House’ project, supported by LG Electronics India Ltd., Habitat for Humanity India has built 34 safe homes and 80 household sanitation units across Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.

In Pune district, Maharashtra, 18 families built new homes and 40 households gained access to sanitation facilities. In Ghaziabad district, Uttar Pradesh, 16 families moved into safe, dignified homes and 40 sanitation units were constructed.

This initiative is part of a long-standing partnership between Habitat for Humanity India and LG Electronics India Ltd., that began in 2021. With continued support from LG Korea and LG India, the collaboration has resulted in a total of 51 homes and 105 sanitation units across two states from September 2020 to till date.
