In this video, I visit Curran Apple Orchard in University Place near Tacoma Washington. I set up and do a plein air oil painting of some beautiful apple trees. I show my plein air process and talk a bit about how I select a scene in a place with many potential paintings. I also talk about what I want to communicate in this painting.
