This is our SMT department, we should wear the electrostatic suits before entering the workshop.
Hello everyone, this is the workshop of the SMT department, it occupy 700 square meters area, with total 6 production lines include 4 full automatic production lines and 1 domestic line. I’ll guide you to see them.
These are 2 of the full-automatic production lines, this one is the full-auto stencil printer.
When the product is loaded from the automatic unloader to stencil printer, it will come to the SPI machine first.
This is a detecting and inspecting machine which mainly help us to check if the solder paste is too big, continuous tin electrodeposit or not, or insufficient solder etc,.
Now let’s move along with the product to the SMT machines, we are using the Samsung S2 as our main production lines, 6 machines in total.
They can mount all components and parts of the industry. Well, as you see there are SMT machines in another side as well.
In fact, the two production lines is a combined production line which using same reflow machine.
This is an AOI machine
After the product finished mounting from the SMT machine, we need to use the AOI to inspect and see if any deviation, insufficient solder, less component or wrong components etc. It can ensure us avoid the simple and low-level mistakes.
Especially that it can detect the wrong component.
After the products have been fully inspected and detected by the AOI, they will come to reflow. This is a brand new 10 temperature zone reflow.
After the reflow, there is another AOI machine to help inspection again. This is a finished product AOI inspection, to detect the product and see if the product have miss component, insufficient solder and misplace etc.
After the AOI, once the product inspected good and OK, it will be put on the automatic plate stacker. If not OK, then the QC staff will take it out and send it to repair.
After repairing, the product will be inspected by the AOI second time, just ensure our product no defect during SMT production.
This is the SPI machine, after solder paste, we use this machine to detect and avoid the phenomenon of insufficient solder.
This machine is under operation.
Now this SMT machine is under running, you can come and see the mounting effects.
You can see that every product must be inspected by this AOI machine,
All components, any misplace, insufficient solder, less solder etc must be detected by this position.
Once any problem founded, we will go to the front position to make adjustment accordingly, this can hugely improve the quality.
After AOI, the product will be reflow soldered. You can see the PCB is under reflow soldering, and there are 10 temperature zone in this reflow.
After the flow, our QC staff will performs 100% lighting test. Now this position is specially set to test the function, effects of the products.
