Описание: The Carlow Car Club Mk2 challenge was all that. A huge challenge!
A set of tough stages with minimal grip even in the scorching weather conditions.
Huge crowds are often my undoing and I get carried away being a clown but I could feel the support on the hedges and it pushed us on to a level we thought was in the past. So thank you one and all.
Thank you to Brendan Harpur and his team behind the scenes. They put in a huge effort for the 20th anniversary of the mk2 challenge and the rally itself.
Their “can do” attitude is what rallying is all about and a pleasure to behold.
Baby Blue survived where others didn’t. Very tough on a car. I think she deserves a lot of TLC in the next few weeks. For the first time since Galway we got her through a rally without body damage and I can tell you, that was a relief.
So, we are 3 time winners of the mk2 challenge.
2012-2013-2024
I’ll milk that for a while!
