For this lesson we're going talk about a very cool groove, is called the Samba Funk. The Samba Funk became very popular in the 70s and 80s, and still today, you can hear this rhythm with instrumental music and also with pop bands. I'm going to show you few patterns that are very useful and hopefully you're going to start using them with your band. Remember to always have the samba beat that we talked on previous lesson in mind. Think about the tamborim pattern, the third surdo and shakers of the percussion samba section.
