Hi guys, welcome to Chapter-4 of the tutorial series on HDA (Houdini Digital Asset) from SVLabs. In this part of the video series we will learn to create a leaf material in Unreal Engine, which will be complete with a Wind shader network. For the wind effect, we will be using a World Position based shader, which will also make use of the vertex colors we exported from Houdini.
We will end Chapter-4 by creating a material instance for the grass material. So this grass material instance will have all the controls for adding textures, adjusting roughness, specularity and also controls for wind effect.
