Ain't She Sweet was the first recording made by the Beatles to be released on vinyl. It was recorded in June of 1961 but only came out on Atco Records in July of 1964 in the US, in an attempt to capitalize on the Beatles popularity.
The Beatles were hired to back singer/guitarist Tony Sheridan. At the session, they were allowed to play 2 songs of their own. This was the only one they did with a vocal, sung by John Lennon. Pete Best was the drummer.
