What happened to Saw Gerrera?

Описание: What is wrong with Saw Gerrera? Um…a lot. He’s filled with paranoia, and honestly it’s understandable. I’d be paranoid too if I saw the way Luthen Rael operated and treated his network of rebels like pieces on a chess or dejarik board. But I’m going to focus on his physical ailments. Saw is meant to be a mirror of Darth Vader in many ways. His extremism and militancy has taken a physical and mental toll on his body over the years, having lost both of his legs, becoming more and more machine, and even developing breathing issues. His lung problems can be attributed to his time personally investigating the Empire’s activities on Geonosis. The Death Star began construction above that world until it was moved to Scarif. When that time came, the Empire exterminated the Geonosian people basically with pesticide to keep their secret safe. Saw traveled to Geonosis and was trapped there, breathing in the toxic fumes, causing his need for a respirator. At least, that was the original explanation, but Andor has now shown us that Saw enjoyed breathing in rhydonium for fun, which he knew would do internal damage.. So he either needs oxygen to help him breathe, or he is just continuing to pump himself full of explosive gas. #starwars #rogueone
