Описание: I’m a MSc candidate and NSERC CGS-M award holder at the University of Regina. I completed my BSc Honours at the University of Regina with NSERC USRA funding and my diverse research experience ranges from studying nocturnal bird behaviour to competing pathogenic bacteria strains. My research in the Cameron lab is focused on how cross-feeding communities of Salmonella and E. coli use toxins to compete for food and iron in nutrient-limited environments. By studying genetic and ecological aspects of microbial communities in labs, we can deepen our knowledge on how complex bacterial communities function inside of us.
