During Deepavali, we will be consuming lots of sweets and savouries. So, we would end up with stomach problems.
To overcome this problem, we traditionally make this medicinal Legiyum for Deepavali.
Traditional method requires grinding this Legiyum powder with lots and lots of healthy ingredients. But the process would be time consuming, so I have made this Legiyum using Ready made Legiyum powder.
Deepavali Legiyum powder is available in all Maatu Marundhu stores.
Marundu / Lehiyam
Ingredients:
Legiyum Powder - 1/2 cup
Ginger - 2 inch
Jaggery ( Naatu Sakkarai)- 1/2 cup or 3/4 cup
Gingely Oil - 5 Tbsp
Ghee - 3 Tsp
Honey - 2 Tsp
