CCIR Students Spotlights: Jivaana on The Differences Observed in Memory Performance

Описание: Jivaana Luthra is a student at Fravashi International Academy in India. She has received recognition in mathematics and science competitions, including the American Mathematics Olympiad, the National Science Talent Search Examination, and the International Olympiad in Quantitative Aptitude. She earned a Top in the World Award for mathematics at IGCSE and has also been active in Model United Nations, school sports journalism, and other academic pursuits.

At the CCIR Academy, Jivaana’s research paper, The Differences Observed in Memory Performance Acquired from a Spatial Navigation Ability Task Between Individuals Residing in a City Environment and Those Living in a Non-City Environment of Age Groups Younger, Middle and Older, explores how environment and age influence memory. By comparing urban and non-urban residents across age groups, the study assesses differences in spatial navigation and memory performance, highlighting how both environment and ageing affect cognitive abilities.

She also shared her reflections on the project in a CCIR Academy Student Spotlight episode, discussing the mentorship she received and the lessons she gained from the research process.
