• from the shadows of slavery to standing atop the Kaaba calling the first Adhan on the day of Fath Makkah (The Conquest of Makkah),
• and finally to his moving last days in Syria, where his voice could no longer bear to say, “Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah” without breaking into tears.
