This is what plays after you run RealAudio Player 1.0 for the first time. This was released in 1995. The text in the video are the names of the filenames, .ra of course as that was the proprietary file format for RealAudio created the same year; however they aren't technically called "firstruns" like in the later versions of RealPlayer, i.e. Realplayer 8.0. These are very interesting because they predate the name change from Progressive Networks to RealNetworks.
I couldn't download RealAudio Player 1.0 from my normal computer, so I installed it on a VM. I went into the files and put these files on a virtual .img floppy disk and extracted it with 7-Zip and made this quick video. I saw noone upload this before, even though this is revolutionary as one of the first streaming applications, so I decided to be the first to.
