This video is part 2 of our 5 part series where we dine at our favorite Magic Kingdom restaurants to see which we think is the BEST. Liberty Tree Tavern opened with Walt Disney World Resort in 1971. Located in the Liberty Square section of Disney's Magic Kingdom park, this table service dining establishment pays homage to the history of the United States and its founders. Each of the six dining rooms are themed after one of America's Founding Fathers.
The menu is an all-you-care-to-enjoy Family-Style offering. There are three separate courses and the offerings can best be described as comfort food usually found during a classic Thanksgiving meal. Although the dessert, an Ooogey Gooey Toffee Cake, is unique and may be our favorite sweet treat in all of Walt Disney World.
