This 12" x 30 cm repinique from Contemporânea’s PRO line is built with thick, polished aluminium for a strong, voluminous tone and long-lasting durability. Whether you’re playing in your bloco or on stage, this drum delivers clarity and projection when it counts.
Equipped with 8 tuning rods, it allows for higher tension and a defined, punchy midrange - ideal for Samba Reggae, Afro Samba, and other Bahian styles. It also works for Rio-style Samba, though the 8-lug setup leaves less space between rods, which can be tight for hand-stick players depending on your hand size and positioning.
