Step 1: Go to the home screen of your Samsung Smart TV. If you're not on the home page, press the home button on the remote control.

Step 2: Using your remote control, scroll to the app section. Highlight the app you want to remove from the home screen and long press "OK". You will be presented with a couple of options: "Move" and "Remove".

Step 3: Select "Remove" and then confirm by selecting "Remove" once again. You will receive a prompt "Removed Successfully" .

It is important to note that the app has nor been uninstalled from the TV. It is still available and you can always add it back to the home screen in case you ever change your mind.
