Hey guys Toyhouze here and today I want to provide the proper sequel to my AOE Protection paladin guide. That guide answered many questions, but there are still some questions left unanswered, so this guide will answer those frequently asked questions such as, what’s the best build for level 70 AOE protection paladins, which consumables are best, What are the BEST professions you should choose, Scryer or Aldor, Phase 1 Best-in-Slot gear, and best farming spots.

Professions:
Enchanting: Provides 24 Spell Power with
Ring – Spellpower, and the ability to disenchant which is huge if you plan to farm scholomance or stratholm.
Engineering:
Goblin Rocket Launcher are your bis trinkets until Tier 6.
Jewelcrafting: Provides three unique gems for 18 Stamina(Falling Star), 12 Defense (Facet of Eternity), and 14 Spell Damage (Don Julio’s Heart).
Leatherworking: Provides 80 haste for 30 seconds with
Drums of Battle and 60 attack power for 30 seconds with
Drums of War
Scryer or Aldor? It’s not that big of a difference:
We recommend going Aldor as a Protection Paladin in TBC Classic. The Aldor shoulder enchant,
Greater Inscription of Warding is better than the Scryer
Greater Inscription of the Knight in the long term when you reach the defense cap more easily. Scryer has the advantage of providing a great early game ring, the Seer's Signet.
How to get those best in slot pieces (you should talk enchants, and edit the BiS recording) (I was wearing 2-piece crystalforge when comparing ret aura vs sanctity)
For Phase 1, I’d recommend following a protection paladin BiS gear list except making sure to get Petrified Lichen Guard – Sold by Mycah, the Sporeggar Quartermaster in Zangarmarsh. It Requires Honored Reputation., Figurine of the Colossus (Kargath Bladefist – Shattered Halls), Libram of the Eternal Rest (Darkweaver Syth - Sethekk Halls), Dabiri’s Enigma is a solid choice because more blocks means more damage, and with Figurine of the Colossus you’ll be max health in nearly a split second. I’ll link a BiS list for protection paladins in the description below the video.
Can’t get crystalforged 2 piece until phase 2, since Tier 5 drops in Tempest Keep and Serpentshrine Caverns.
