Your pay is correlated with your value in the marketplace. You are most likely always going to be underpaid until one day you may have the opportunity to be wildly overpaid. The question is, why do you become more value to those around you?
Average Americans Salaries
The average wage in 2019 in the US was $51,916.27, and the average median wage was $34,248.45. There is a big difference between the SSA average wage and median wage data. The average numbers are bigger because high-earner individuals jack them up.
The first way to become value valuable and increase your pay/money is to get in the right vehicle. Your job/industry is like being in a car. You want to be in the fastest care possible, you need to work in finance or tech.
The second way to become more valuable is to develop you personal brand. You need to get more attention. That is the reason I post videos on YouTube each day and started posting again for consistency on LinkedIn. I want to be seen and I want people to know my name.
The final way to become more value is to have a growth mindset. Constantly be learning more about yourself, your environment, and what skills you need to develop to reach the next level.
