Описание: Check out those caves, what an amazing stretch of coast. Like the trip as a whole, this paddle was a bit of a slow burner, but when it got going, it REALLY got going. It was 5 days since I'd paddled with Matt at the Farne Islands, did a day in Berwick on Tweed, day after that, the weather was not promising, and that was the turning point. Do I stick or twist? Home, or plough on? I ploughed on, over the Forth Bridge, to Dundee, then finally Catterline. Overnight there, then a miserable day of rain, some local suggested Stonehaven for a meal, so off I went, and the weather cleared up. I managed this amazing paddle the day after, and when you think, I only managed to get about half-way to Catterline, you will realise just how much there is to see on this stretch of coast. I paddled past loads of caves, just didn't have anywhere near enough time to do them all. The one bonus of that is, that when I return with MATT, there will still be many stones that have been left unturned.
