Tucked away in an obscure village of Telangana is the 800-year old Ramappa temple which was inscripted as the 39th World Heritage Site in India by UNESCO. But, what’s so unique about this ancient medieval temple that helped it set its place on the world heritage map? It is built using bricks which can float on water and has such delicate carvings that let even a thread pass through it.
