Описание: Recovery is a full-length instrumental album by Ryan Gerald, composed between January 13th and February 24th during a period of physical healing and quiet contemplation following a serious injury.

Created immediately after the Sixty-Six EP, these twelve pieces continue the journey — moving from uncertainty toward resilience and renewal. While Sixty-Six was written as a dedication to my father, it also emerged during the early phase of my recovery following a December injury — after several weeks of inward focus and adjustment.

Recovery documents the slow rebuilding of strength — step by step, day by day.

Written during physical therapy, long nights of reflection, and gradual milestones of progress, the music explores themes of healing, persistence, and quiet determination.

Warm ambient textures, gentle melodies, and evolving synth layers mirror the experience of rehabilitation — moments of fatigue, moments of hope, and the steady return of movement.

Recovery is not about returning to who you were — it is about becoming someone new.
