I've had video-block for a while now (Video version of writers block). I had the ideas, I just couldn't get them down into a video. punches self. Curse myself for not trying harder.
Last night I read a fanfiction by ChaosRocket called "We should be partners" and thats what sparked this idea. The summary for the story is "In ancient Egypt, Marik and Bakura meet up and become partners...3,000 years later, they become partners again."
I absolutely adored how well it was written, and how it wove into the actual storyline rather than be one of those fanfictions that has no real set time. Im also addicted to thinking about T.K. Bakura & Mahes (Ancient Marik) now. seizure
After I had read it I was DJing on Whirled and this song came up, and immediately I was so inspired by the story and the song to put them together. Unfortunately, finding anything that could resemble Mahes was hard, until I found an old Citronshipping Doujin I had from ages ago. In short, the beginning of the video reflects the relationship between T.K.Bakura and Mahes, and the actual moving clips from the episodes flows into the Thiefshipping and Marik and Bakura finding one another again.
If you havent read the fanfiction yet I recommend you do, its amazing and Chaos is a brilliant writer.
