It was time to put the pedals and the steering column + wheel back where they belong. Of course, there were some issues—like a bolt in an unbelievably hidden place and a few missing or broken parts. After many attempts and continuous cursing, I finally managed to screw in the bolt. I also managed to replace the broken and missing part from the power steering coupler by ordering a new rebuild kit. A happy ending in the end.
Note: Originally, the Volvo C202 doesn’t have power steering. It was fun to Google the numbers I found on the housing to figure out what kind of power steering I actually have in the car: turns out it’s a 1966–82 MOPAR setup. #volvoc202 #laplander #the_black_sheep_project #diy #restoration #ryobi
