On the Winter Solstice, I hiked from Enniskerry to Glencullen via Prince William's Seat - a ridgeline I'd been saving for a day like this.
This isn't a trail guide.
It's a reflection on what happens when the year ends and you're still not who you thought you'd be. On effort that doesn't land. On fog that doesn't lift. And on something people carved into stone at Newgrange five thousand years ago that we might need to remember.
