Long version: • Trek to Honshū’s westernmost point of land...
This is my noble attempt to visit the westernmost piece of land on Honshu, Japan's main island. The chunk of dirt is called "Bishanohana" and it isn't well-known even among the Japanese. It's also tough to get to (using public transportation anyway) ... but worth it.
Afterwards we'll go: up a big tower with great views; to an ancient temple on the edge of the town of Shimonoseki; and then on a slow two-day local train journey that winds all around the coast and then back to Osaka.
And yes, blood sugar checks are included on the way. (But of course.)
