Описание: The chair of the UN’s commission of inquiry on Israel and Palestine Navi Pillay speaks to Middle East Eye’s Sondos Asem about her latest report, which concluded that Israel has committed genocide against the Palestinian people.

A former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Pillay also served as president of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and a founding judge of the International Criminal Court.

She also reflects on her decades-long fight for justice, from Rwanda’s genocide trials to apartheid South Africa and the ongoing atrocities in Gaza, warning that the international community has “failed the Palestinian people.”
