Uneven travertine tiles can be difficult to clean.
The tile edges chip and fill with dirt.
The tiles can lose filler
The floor can be ground smooth, the holes re-filled and the finish polished to a beautiful easy to clean finish.
This is a costly process compared to deep cleaning and filling with grout filler.
It is only recommended for floors that do not take heavy wear.
