Cullen surprised us. And it wasn't just the soup.

Описание: It's a train and a bus (and a lot of hours) to get from Montrose to the wee village of Cullen on Scotland's North East coast (thankfully a bit before the area was hit by some pretty severe winter weather!). We have never stopped here before and the place was quite surprising to be honest. After building up an appetite with a wander around town, we ended up in the Rockpool Café sampling the famous local soup. I think you'll see by the thumbnail and title that we quite liked it! We also really enjoyed the journey to get here (especially the bus bit) and there's definitely some unfinished business in this corner of Scotland. We will be back for sure.
