The track utilises a ‘framed narrative’, exploring loss and heartache via the forbidden love of two male soldiers during World War One - the story told through the lens of a modern-day teller that finds love letters between a void in the wall when renovating his deceased mum’s house.
It’s a mindful exploration of love, loss, and the benefit in diverting from daily struggles to reimagine beautifully poignant stories of the past.
