Starting the compilation in Indonesia, with Munir (AKA Midnight Runners). one of Southeast Asia’s most unique talents. A deep record collector, equally skilled as a producer, Munir’s signature boogie-funk & raw sounds have graced labels such as Dopeness Galore, Darker Than Wax and No Bad Days.

For FuFu Records, he made a beautiful tropical house track adding some FX of birds chirping and joyful African singing inspired by a refreshment hike in the mountains and jungles. Besides that, Munir added some percussion synth much like gamelan sound to put ahead the Asian vibe culture.

88 - Double Happiness comprises a mix of well-know artists and emerging talented producers who are showcasing the new sounds of Asia. It sonically explores the electronic musical scene coming all the diversity of Asian countries.

With artists coming from Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, India, South Korea, Singapore & China, ‘88 - Double Happiness’ features artists such as Munir, Dazzle Drums, Thirstkid, Hamza Rahimtula, Rafiki, Bongomann, Go Dam & Luxixi. Each artist brought their own flavour to the compilation with their unique sounds and dance-worthy beats.
