The Phantom Thieves of Hearts (心の怪盗団, Kokoro no kaitō-dan)?, also known simply as the Phantom Thieves, is a group of Persona Users in Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal. Sick of the deception, hypocrisy and corruption around them, the Phantom Thieves are devoted to "stealing" the corrupt hearts of evil adults in order to change and reform society for the better. After their first heist, the group can be named (with the default name being "The Phantoms" (ザ・ファントム?)), which will be written on calling cards, to others via online features, and in dialogue (although voice dubbing will always refer to them as the "Phantom Thieves").
