The purpose of the straightening process is to bring the produced bars within the required straightness and twist tolerances. At Montanstahl we do this on 100% of the bars using two types of mechanical technology - roller straightening and press straightening - depending on the size and cross section of the profiles. Our qualified operators are responsible for carrying out tolerance compliance controls by means of specific measuring instruments and reference tables.
