India has built a robust, regulated drone ecosystem with 38,500+ registered drones and nearly 40,000 certified pilots. Progressive Drone Rules, Digital Sky reforms, and PLI incentives have accelerated adoption. Drones now transform land mapping, agriculture, infrastructure monitoring, disaster response, and defence, driving efficient governance, women’s empowerment, and technology-led public service delivery nationwide.
