We recorded rock band Lower Than Atlantis with the Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic, which easily connects to your interface to increase channel I/O via ADAT. Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic is an eight-channel Focusrite preamp with natural-sounding Scarlett preamps, optimised to handle extreme levels from sound sources like kick drum and snare.

For those interested, we tracked the band together as a live take, and overdubbed the vocals. There is also a backing tracked with synths / atmospherics that we mixed the track with.
