Do vegan products threaten German food culture? German cuisine is traditionally rather meat-heavy: sausage, schnitzel, roasts are among the classics. But now there are more and more vegan meat alternatives for dishes like these, which are becoming increasingly popular. We visited two vegan German butcher shops to find out why vegan meat substitutes are so polarizing.
