In August 2023, 140 young people gathered at the Southbank Centre for our annual 2 week Summer School learning dance, drumming, brass and steel pans. We explored the theme of 'Tribute', curated by our young leaders creative committee. Tribute took us on a journey to explore the movement of people into London and what impacts this has had on its music. People bring their music, stories and experiences and as they connect to where they are and who they meet, new sounds emerge.
Track seven is Back to Life, by Soul II Soul, inspired by Sunday Service Choir, arranged by Andy Grappy
