THE WATERING HOLE - Trail Cam Film

Описание: WAT UP! ITS BIG G! I'm back! Thankfully a lot sooner than expected, and I got something new for you all sorta of. Some months ago I got a new trail camera. I wanted to test it out in my yard first before I put it out in the wilderness. Out of curiosity I decided to it set up by the water lily pond to record anything walking by. I managed to capture a lot of footage (particularly at night) from different angles and decided to put it all into one video. Not as a compilation or montage but like a story. A silent story allowing the visuals, ambience and animals to tell by showing.

I made videos like this before, some of which I haven't yet released but this is the first time I've tried it using a trail camera.

Since the pond was created it began attracting a lot of attention. Insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds, even mammals would regularly be visiting the pond for a drink. The pond became the equivalent to a watering hole in the Serengeti.

Of course the garden hasn't been without its set backs. The more attention the pond attracted the larger the animal would come to investigate. The larger the animal, the greater the destruction. As frustrating as it was, I know their just wild animals. I can't blame them, for doing what they only know how to do. Simply trying to survive no differently than us. Especially as these summers keep getting hotter. So I had to come up with a solution.

Around the rim I made a steel wire barrier that can allow the animals to still get a drink or clean themselves but prevent them from damaging the plants inside. I also got another water lily plant, and a solar fountain pump. I also got more mosquitofish and another native species of fish.
