Many preachers are saying that these chapters are about to be fulflled.
They describe instruments of warfare like arrows, spears etc. Such does not exist today. There literal fulfilment falls apart when we consider our modern weapons. They are preaching falsehood.
There ignorance overlooks these chapters have already been fulfilled. Or should we say that there has to be in their hearts a lust for the things of this earth. We have a heavenly kingdom. 'People will not endure sound teaching... they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own lusts, passions...' Such teachers are teaching myths.
Daniel 11 and historical records of Maccabees show clearly the two chapters have been totally fulfilled.
Do not be deceived. Know the truth and tell it to others.
